Yuanlin Bus Co., Ltd. (commonly known as Yuanlin Bus) was founded on February 28, 1942 (the 31st year of the Republic of China). Originally named Yuanlin Motor Vehicle Joint Stock Company, the company was established during the Japanese colonial period as part of the government’s efforts to improve bus transport management in central Taiwan by integrating more than ten small-scale operators in Yuanlin and neighboring areas, forming a regional public transportation network.
After World War II, on March 6, 1949, the company was reorganized and officially registered as Yuanlin Bus Co., Ltd. Since then, it has played a vital role in providing public transportation services in Changhua and Nantou, striving to improve efficiency and service quality.
Over the decades, Yuanlin Bus has steadily expanded its operations, building a comprehensive intercity and rural transport network while developing inter-county routes and diversified transport services.
